Does anyone know that the spec of the heads in the standard tvr v8 heads are.. ( 96 engine) is there much work done on porting them, what size are the valves..

I ask as im interested in upgrading mine and need to know what state of tune they are to start with...

I've just spoken to the chap at wildcat an their heads sound loverly.... 2k for a complete kit from the head gasket up including roller rockers.....

although he did suggest depending on the existing state of tune of the heads it would probably be a better idea to go 4.8 with new crank rods and pistons..

p.s. not interested in why dont you sell it and buy a 5ltr car argument

The 4.0L heads are standard unported, valve size 40mm inlet 34.5mm exhaust to the nearest 1/2 mm .
i have a 4.0L with stage 3 heads (medium valve) and fully recommend the upgrade. I wouldn't bother with TVR spec big valves as i think they would be too much on a 4.0L.
