After much deliberation, I have come up with the following as a removable vinyl for all entrants of the London Thunder Rally. (I hope you like it)

I suggest this is to be placed at the top centre of the windscreen on the outside to which should keep uniformity for all participants regardless of model. Although a little bright close up, this should also be visable to all spectators, and would look good in the Guiness Book of Records / TV / Press. Anything less just looks washed out or confusing due to being displayed on the Union Flag.

I am at present hoping to produce at least one for every entrant, which (fingers crossed) I can post out to all convoy leaders in advance, and if someone can save me a spot near the Ace on the day can hand out to all people still wanting one.

Although these are being supplied to the rally FOC, I am appealling to people to make a £2 donation, with all proceedes to go to the central coffers. At present that would raise over £600 !! (and rising daily)

What I do need to establish is are there any objections to my suggestion as I don't really wish to spend un-necessary material and time in printing and cutting, unwanted vinyls.

Once I know we have all this in hand, I will try to produce the other two designs, if time allows. I will have to charge £2 to cover material and labour for these two options(sorry).

Please log you interest as :

Best in Britain (long bumper sticker version)

or

Bulldog and Flag (if we can tidy up the image a little))

Stating quantities required.

Just a reminder, you do not need to register an interest in the London Thunder vinyl as everyone should get one regardless (once you have given me a couple of golden nuggets )

If I can collect numbers inadvance, then if time allows should be able to do a last minute print off with rough figures (apologies to all those who have already posted on the other thread)

Cheers

Andy (Moose)

Excellent - absolutely no complaints about the main vinyl sticker design and happy to donate to the cause for it.

As for option no2, I would go for 'Best in Britain' and take 2 of them.

Thanks, Owen

Removable vinyl looks great. I will have six of the Best Made In Britain stickers......I am assuming from your info that you only intend to produce the first of these two designs....ie the longer one............ithankyouverymuch!

It won't rain

....but just in case I may get the spec of the material raised to err on the side of more aggresive natured adhesive so as not to have 300 TVR's parading around with shoddy graphics (won't help the cause too much)

They may suffer from a bit of wiper drag marks after awhile, but hopefully they will be AOK for the day.

If I do end up with and spares and anyone wants to keep one on their motor, but move it to the rear or other suitable place, I will flog them off the following week.

Regards paying for these, I think it best that we have an informal, bring 2 off pound coins on the day, and just do a simple cash transaction either with your convoy leader or directly with myself at the Ace.

Sorry won't be issuing vat receipts and no gift aid either. Just a plain and simple collection and cheque to be sent wherever needed once the count up has happened.
