Throttle linkage advise please

Hi Everyone,
Just some advice please, i have a 97'4.2 and i have that hesitation problem at constant speed (not accel or deccel).
Anyway i done a search on the problem and one of the possible problems is play in the linkage, so i checked this today and found that i have a small amount of play in this.
My question is that i have about 1mm of play in the 'even' bank linkage, is this acceptable or am i being too fussy.

I'd say it was too much, if you put the softwareon and watch the TPS values you can see that this will cause an imbalance bank to bank.

Anyone know of a good source for the ball ends?

If someone can supply me this i will be massivly grateful and i will send them something cool in return.

I've looked into getting the ball and socket thing, i can get M5 ones for £2.50 so i've ordered 2 of them but if their not right, i've also ordered some M6 rose jointed rod ends and i'm also gonna make a titanium rod.

i could'nt find new ball ends, so i ordered some female rod end bearings in lh and rh threads from a local engineering suppliers. Then replaced the ball bit on the throttle levers with some button head stainless bolts and nylocks. Re adjusted everything,and hey presto no more slop and trick as you like
