To get a good digital camera for around £100? I'm looking to buy one for myself but I don't want a complete heap of cack.

Is it possible or am I better looking for hen's teeth in a pile of rocking horse crap?

Help me please...

Depends what you intend using it for. If you want something to slip in your pocket the choices are going to be different to something a bit bigger with more settings on it etc.

There are so many cameras on the market now...I can only speak from experience. I paid about £70 for my 2nd hand Fuji S5000 and it takes fantastic quality pictures. It goes with me everywhere when I don't want to risk the D50! I've also got a Samsung A6 which cost me a fortune at the time but you can now pick them up at a reasonable price. That takes good quality pictures and it's small enough to throw in my bag.

I'm sure you'll get lots more opinions shortly !

Cool, is ebay the place for these or can you recommend somewhere else that's trustworthy?

I fell lucky when I got mine from ebay. Check out your local camera shops as the ones near me sell 2nd hand ones. You're more likely to get some kind of warranty with it too. There are also a few online shops which are cheap. Check them out too.

Got my D50 from this lot....www.cameras2u.com/ Can't fault them....delivered the next day.
