Was reading about the AJP enegine on wikipedia. Peter Wheeler states that one of the reasons behind the developing their own engine was to sell it to other car makers as an additional stream of income for TVR. This and that the Rover V8s may not have been made available by BMW following the German's purchase.
Did they? Did they even get close to supplying any other car makers? Anyone care to ponder what cars developed in the 1990s would've benefitted? Or what woud've happened to TVR if they became a "Cosworth" style supplier of engines to a mayjor marque? eg a Mondeo 4.2 ST AJP-spec GHIA!!!!
