Decided to start a new thread, as the last one is buried somewhere. We have 2 more rooms of the 7 to fill. Shall we bring in two other Porsches (or other cars.., or are there more GT2 owners around?) which we can use to offset agst the brilliance of the GT2. Any suggestions? If we get the whole country house hotel filled, it will be a good laugh, and will make the activities up at cwin's place even more fun. Female owning porsche drivers?

Fancy driving up there friday afternoon with us and the Dunns? Steve?

Three GT2s in a 150mph convoy up the M6. Should raise some eyebrows!

Definitely, Steve told me he's going. He'll be there. If not I'm sure we'll be able to get someone else to do it. I'll PG the deposit.

ok, the last room has been filled. Two women, of which one is a consultant to my business, and her friend. They shall be hiring a porsche for the weekend and will be seeking rides in the exotic stuff where available.....They should make the weekend into a bit more of a mix and create that house party feeling with couples and singles (for the weekend) - which should be a laugh. Aplogies for breaking the GT2 only rule..but rules are there to be broken..especially when you can get an ROI.

Now the hard work of initial organisation has been done; i shall set about the actual weekend timetable. More later. Also need to sort out a creaking hollow noise from front wheels..when slow crawling speed round tight corners..a visit to JZ Machtech i reckon. Plus if i get a decent quarter.maybe a little performance pressie for the car..or change the seats from comfort to something with a bit more feel to them.

cheers

simon - convoy would be good, but I tend to use the leeds/skipton/cross country route !

not fussed though - as you say the convoy would look pretty impressive ! (and be a bit of a laugh!)

Have a great time in the best looking 996/997 imho. take care on the skipton to kendal road, unmarked scoobies and laser guns abound, got a ticket at 97 mph, still it could of been worse spotted him and hit the anchors before getting zapped.eek

That won't worry mee too much - I'm gonna be the middle car in a 3 car GT2 sandwich ! .....

The car at the front 'may' be speeding...
the car at the back 'may' be speeding.....
me in the middle ?
......innocent bystander caught-up in airwash and carried-along (honest officer)
