Cheers Dicky, I'll be back at some point because I love the cars and the marque in general (despite all the recent problems). I might fit the stereotypical " it'll be bigger and badder next time" mould 
but mine would see me through nicely if I could keep it.

It Depends - If its a V8 developments or a JE Engineering jobbie then yes - Let people know.
If its a rebuilt range rover engine then no...

Personally, I would mention it and think its a good thing.
There are however many people that think originality is everything and will put a lower value on the car with a non-standard engine. In my opinion, the engine you have now is presumably better than standard so value should be more.
Unfortunately at this time of year, it is unlikely to sell unless you practically give it away. If you can wait until April, the market picks up and you should get asking price.

It's also the 4.6 but from what I remember of that car (it was at BBWF 2005, I think) mine's in better nick.
I don't want to let it go for that amount but I think what I'm asking is fair without having to come down any further.
I appreciate the advice; it wasn't intended to squeeze any more money out of potential buyers, just mentioned to 'consolidate' if you like, what I think is a good deal.
