Insurance during winterisation
Discussion
Carole Nash are being quite restrictive with my policy with regard to garaging a bike during winter months.
I run a Fully Comp policy throughout the entire year and don't need that level of cover between October and March (Just theft would be ideal).
Are there any other insurance companies out there that offer seasonal policies? Is there anything I can do with Carole Nash to allow me to drop the level of cover.
After speaking with them, they can drop the cover level to TPFT but will not be able to return to Fully Comp until my renewal in June.
They cannot suspend the cover and any mid-term changes incur a £30 penalty.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am paying £450pa Fully Comp, not a big amount by most standards but considering it only gets abused on Sunny Weekends from April to October I feel that I am paying over the top.
Why can't these companies recognise that different levels of cover are demanded by the public. They have brought out a car/bike combined policy so why not diversify into seasonal policies. It would get my vote all the way, obviously!!
