MOT headlamp requirements???.......

OK so I have MOT'd many cars, and have a rough understanding of the MOT requirements for headlamps, but do not know the EXACT requirements for dipped lamps and main beam etc......can someone please refresh my memory with something a bit more precise......

I'm about to mount a pair of street-fighter bike lamps to my Q plated UVA fugitive and I need to know how to ensure they will pass an MOT before I arrive at the test station....

I'm told bike lamps behave differently when dipping, so I need to be careful with the MOT requirements.....I'm assuming it will involve me drawing pretty patterns on my garage door!.....not for SVA as my car is already road going on a Q plate since 1991.....just for MOT only.

Motorcycle headlights don't dip to the left which is technically a fail. However you might get away with an MOT but probably not SVA.
