Seem to remember that Plod need to get you an NIP within a certain time limit - or the NIP is void.

Is this still the case?
If so - hats the time limit?

e.g. if I recieve an NIP in the post for 17-10 and it is dated 21-11 then is it valid or not?

Cheers...

If you're a private owner and the registered keeper then you're in the clear - woohoo!

14 days they have to serve in.

ahhh but if you['re a company car driver I take it the NIP has to be served on the company inside the 14 days - then it goes back to Plod and they readdress it to the company car driver nominated by the company and this elapsed time does not save you...- correct?

Yep,think so.It must reach the keeper by the 14th day (or maybe 15th) after the event.
