new lens purchase

[poah]

been offered 2 features a month for a modified car mag so splashed out on a new lens. Tomorrow I should be getting my

canon 24-105 L IS lens from AJpurdy

now all I have to do is think about selling my 2 month old tamron 17-50 f2.8 although I'm still not sure if I will.

Congrats, nice buy

[Nacnud]

Congrats - that's the lens I lust after

[Graham@Reading]

It's a great lens - on my camera about 90% of the time.

[Captain Beaky]

I like mine.

It vignettes a bit at wide apertures on a full frame body but it is plenty sharp.

[poah]

ah bless the reduced angle of view on the 20D lol

[Hanslow]

Let me know if you decide to sell the Tamron

[RobDickinson]

Poah I've been writing to santa (bugging the wife) for months about that lens!

Costs more than my camera did(350d) but I so want one

Hope its as good as people say. Mind you I could get an Mx5 for about that money here...

[poah]

when I told lynne I bought it she replied with " yes thats why the tax credits go into my account other wise lewis would be sleeping on lens"
