Can someone enlighten me please?

I have a couple of bulbs to replace and they have this written on them...

RING.BLP 21W 12V (E2) 2G1

What do they stand for / mean?

Any info appreciated.

That should be a 12V 21w Stop light buld or the fog light buld.

Look for a 21w bulb in Halfords etc.

Stop and tail will have 2 wattage ratings on. They have 2 filamets within the bulb, one lower than the other.

Cheers guys, I have now replaced both indicator bulbs at the rear, but the old ones have 2G2 on the end wheras the new (Halfords) ones have 2G1 on the end - what's the difference - if any?
