Driver's window and interior light
Discussion
does anyone know where the door activated switch is for the interior light? It seems this might relate to why my driver's side window does not close up when the door is closed. The window drops down normally on entering the car and closes up when the car is alarmed. I've noticed that the interior light does not work when the door is opened (bulb is fine) - which makes me wonder if the switch for the interior light is linked with the operation of the door window.
Any help/suggestions much appreciated.

Hi Mark
it's fixed now but not sure how! I removed the chrome plate which hides the lock, had a poke around and applied a drop of WD40 - but light/door window still did not work. I read on these pages that dropping the window in notches and then closing it up 'resets' the sender unit in the door...so I did this whilst driving to the petrol station yesterday - it still didn't work when I exited the car to fill 'er up. I locked her up, paid, unlocked her and it worked and has worked ever since! Bizarre! I suppose damp might account for the problem and perhaps my drive was enough to dry it out - that said, the weather was so WET, perhaps not.
Hope this helps. Best of luck,
Neil
