OIL TYPE PLEASE?

HELLO ALL.

WHAT TYPE OF OIL WOULD YOU SUGGEST USING IN A 1996 4.0 CHIM. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A WEEK.

ANY SUGGESTIONS??? - HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHECK LEVELS ALSO??

I use Mobil 1 Motorsport 15w-50 in mine and it seems to run well etc.

I check mine whenever I go out in it, but I don't use my car everyday. If I did use it everyday I would check the oil once a week.
