No.

Anything Disco2 and onwards should have the same bolt pattern.

I have an old set of p38 alloys That have low tread on the tyres. You can have them for £250. They are 18" tripple sport genuine range rover alloys.

The triple Sports are a good looking wheel but are 18" in size. This limits the amount of choice you have when searching for a good set of knobblies. The AT2 is supposed to be a good compromise in P38A size but they will be nowhere near as capable as dedicated off road tyre.
Lower spec P38A came with 16" rims as standard. You'd be better of keeping an eye out on your favaourite auction site for a set of them as they appear quite regularly.
A P38A on a suitable set of off road tyres is a formidable beast when conditions start to get slippery.

18" goodyear MTR is a good off road tyre for 18" rims.

cheers guys ... i was just after something "throw away" as i probably wont do that many muddy days in a year,

I just found that my big assed bling tyres were a tad on the slippy side occasionally, and i figure that it cant be doing my daily road driving motorway bashing tyres any good.

I dont realy care if they dont look pretty or anything as they would only be for bouncing about in a mud pit!!!

TBH it was amazing just how much traction i was getting at woodlands in the rain in october on some very road spec tyres. (although nice to say i have managed power slides, oposite lock and 4 wheel drifting in a range rover ..... ok all done at 5 mph paperbag)

16" p38 wheels are very cheap on ebay. Tyres are also much much cheaper than the 18s (you'll struggle to pay more than £110 a corner for a really good road tyre).
