Hi i'm trying to find out if my old TVR is still about, i sold it about 10 years ago to a very well known person in the TVR world, i tried to get onto their forum but you have to join the club and use the passwords printed in their club magazine called 'SPRINT' so if anyone has the latest copy of Sprint or can get the password from it that would be great,
thanks.

Nice try.
Why don't you post the car details here, some one is bound to know?

Good idea, in fact, may I adopt this thread for my own cause...

1978 Taimar DRH 203T, red with white strip. Sold at David Gerald ~1999/2000.

Where she?

More the merrier!

1978 Taimar DLA 815T sold to Mike Bigland about 10 years ago, it needed some tlc at that time and i hope he restored it like he said he was going to, i would love to see it again.
Best memory is driving through paris and the sunney french countryside with a lovely blond girl next to me, worst memory, driving to work with no heater in sub zero cold all winter. Oh happy days.

Mike is nearing completion of a very good restoration of your Taimar, it has many improvements from the original design, see the TVR Car Club forum (pre 1980's meet for pictures) or email me and I can post you some back.

Try contacting the club archivist, I hear he can be very helpful provided your email is spotted within the mountains of junk .... archivist at tvrcc.com

Hi Tim,

As far as we know, taxed and roadworthy but not owned by a club member at present, will keep an eye open for her in the future....

1976 3000M NWY 863P, blue with white model band.

My first TVR bought from David Gerald for the pricely sum of £3250 in 1987.

Fabulous car.

Hope she's still being looked after but I suspect she's hung up her baffles by now.

The tax last ran out in 1996, so I guess you're right.

Where is the website to find out this info?

Is it on the DVLA pages?

Be interested to check out my previous loves as it were.

(3000M lives on in my memory - and lots of pics of her in the attic).
