A officer said the MoP overtook him before passing the camera
An MoP who broke the speed limit on his way to pick up a Chinese takeaway has been jailed.

Joe Bloggs was caught driving a Land Rover through a speed camera in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, at 48mph in a 40mph zone.

Magistrates jailed him as he had been on his way to causing an accident.

How can he have 'denied speeding' and been cleared when he obviously triggered a speed camera.

Either he *was* speeding or the camera was faulty.

On what grounds was he found not guilty?

It's an odd one as the article clearly makes out that he was not only caught speeding but also caught lying in court and yet no charges.

Not really

A few years back I took to keeping a cheap digital camera in the car in case of a crash. The only time I ever used it was to photograph a police car stopping on the zig zags at a ped crossing and nipping in to Threshers and coming out with a load of booze.

Pictures were posted to local station.
