Hi chaps. I'm thinking of doing this qualification, and the best bit is that my company will pay! Woohoooo! So, can anyone recommend a training company in Hertfordshire (so that I won't have to travel into London!). Any other PRINCE2-related pointers would be appreciated too!

I did mine with Mindscope at Shenley Hall in (funnily enough) Shenley. They do a combined Foundation and Practitioner in 5 days with an exam after 2 and another at the end of the week. It's pretty hard work but the setting is good and the trainers (the ones I had at any rate) were very good. The pace is quick though so a bit of prior knowledge and reading is required. They send you the relevant books when you sign up along with some example question papers so you can get a pretty good idea of what is expected of you from the off.

I did it with SPOCE.. course itself is hard work purely from the amount of stuff you need to remember (or at least rememeber where to look up) in suvch a short length of time)

PS:- I'm talking about practioner- foundation is a piece of p!ss to get...

Same here but it was quite enjoyable and interesting at the same time.

OK - quick update! I did the five-day course with WPM last week. Based at Putteridgbury, which is part of the Uni of Bedfordshire a couple of miles from Luton. £1400 inc VAT. As others have said, hard work but very interesting. Just got to wait six weeks for the results now...
