Alfa 147 Sidelight

Has anyone ever had any experience changing the sidelight of an Alfa 147?

Just been trying mine, and it seems as though the plastic extension rod/lever has snapped off, meaning I can't remove the bulb housing. Short of removoing the whole cluster (which probably means the bumper too), I'm stumped.

So, If there's anyone here who's had the same problem, and could lend me their experience, it'd be much appreciated?
