For an 'at-the-flywheel' figure it seems a bit low BUT so much depends on the rollers used, etc. What does it feel like on the road? - if you're pleased with it then rally on and enjoy it - you can become 'anal' about figures, etc.

Entirely depends on the road. Its much better to compare the at the wheels figure as rolling roads report the same at the wheels. Its when they try to calculate the flywheel BHP that things get variable.

I have a 97 450 thats been on two different sets of rollers. One gave 204BHP the other 205BHP at the wheels (so identical for our purposes). Yet their flywheel figures were 235 and 259. Both showed around 220Lbs torque at the wheels but again, at the fly one showed 245lbs the other about 270lbs

Go figure

Both places told me the numbers were bang on for a 450 btw :-)

What were your figures at the wheels ?

My 500 Griff produced 225 at the wheels and 267 at the flywheel after a Mark Adams remap and ACT induction pipe - I was told that was a reasonable figure and 500's generally rpoduced between 250-275 at the flywheel. On that basis I would imagine your figure is about right. Just my opinion FWIW

Thanks for the replies, i understand different rolling roads give different figures, and the "at the wheels opposed to at the fly wheel argument", i was looking for ball park numbers to give me gauge if i decide to modify it or have pro tune done etc.
thanks Meatballears

I had my Griff 500 on the dyno Saturday, 276bhp and 315 ft-lb (flywheel figures).
