I popped in to Vegantune on Wednesday...he had a stinking cold and all his phone lines had been down for 2 days.

I got a text from him yesterday, he's got a really nasty cold.

Said he'd be back on Monday though.

Mmmmm, intersting.

Just phoned up today, as I need an MOT done on my car and it would seem that Richard no longer works at Vegantune anymore.

A nice lady answered the phone and said they were still in business, and were happy to MOT my car, but just not this week.

Not sure what the score is but I'm more than a little disapointed. And somewhat shocked.

Anybody know more ?

The rumour seems to be that he has fallen out with his partner/boss and he has been fired

Think I "may" be able to shed some light on this. I think Richard will be producing a road car (mid-engine, RWD, less than 700kgs with a Scooby engine) soon...maybe that's the reason.

When I spoke to him about it, this was the one he was looking at...



There is a company in the UK trying to get them SVA'd. With the sooby lump, they'll really shift.

I hope he manages to pull it off.
