Connecting hardware behaviour setting

Normally when I connect a camera to the PC I am prompted to choose from a list of actions - eg eopn folder to view files, copy files to PC, that sort of thing. That prompt is now not coming up - how do I get it back? Thanks.

I've not tried this.

plug the drive/camera in. go to explorer, right click properties, autoplay tab, and in there select "prompt me"

not sure if this will then do it for all drive letters, you must have clicked the "don't ask me" i guess
