hope todays kits are easier to build than that one was, didn't even get a build manual, many parts required fabricating etc!
We (Which Kit Car? magazine) did a story on a reader's Quadriga back in the summer. It took the guy 12 years to build, which backs up your claim that they're not easy to build. It's the only one I've (knowingly) seen, and was pretty well put together.

Took me 3+ years, had to guess where to put the fuel tanks/what size, complete new gear linkage from gearbox to gearlever (another builder did a round trip of 480 miles to look at how I had fabricated it) clutch, brakes, steering rack, cooling system, electric window motors and all fittings + all other parts required a complete (educated) guess.
The scrapyards around here were sick of seeing me taking items back to swap!!!
Must admit, I did feel proud after I finished it
The company was (as I now remember) called P.A.C.E
Got £9000 for it in 1994.
