Can the pedals on a Tamora be adj. so the brake is nearer the accelerator. How difficult is it to do? Thanks a lot.

I assume you dont mean lateral adjustment but longitudinal adjustment ie how far the pedals are away from you?

Why do you need to change?

I find it difficult to try heel and toeing with them at the moment,so wondered if the pedals can be adjusted to move closer to each other.

Think it would be possible, but you would have to strip the pedal box down and remove some of the nylon spacers on the mounting shaft between each pedal. Suggest the Accelerator may be easiest as it is connected to a cable, Clutch and Brake are fixed to hydraulics. Then again, there have been problems with accelerator cables prematurely snapping around the back of the pedal box, worth taking into account.

The sales literature for the T350 and Tamora state "Adjustable pedal box" - what exactly is it that is adjustable?? Anybody know?

Cheers

I htink you can adjust the actual pedal, but the whole box is moveable (for vertically challenged people like me)!

The pedal box moves backwards and forwards in 3 positions. Needs unbolting to be moved.

Mine is the easiest car I know to H&T. I actually use the bit of my foot near the rhs of my heal rather than rolling the foot sideways like you would do where the pedals hang from the top if that helps.

Mines fine too.

Maybe, being a TVR, they come in different positions and could therefore be modified to the narrow position.

Or you could have tiny pixie feet.

Agree, it's ideal for me & use same technique. I just needed to add a slim ally left-foot rest to achieve perfection.

Jeez Ian you must have SMALL feet.
I'm only a size 7 & have no probs H&T'ing, in fact with the wrong shoes on they feel too big not to.
Are you sure you're moving your toes across??
