Ballcock, I'll keep this short, but thought it might add weight to your need for a PSE.

Yesterday afternoon Mrs Hussar went to the stables leaving me slumped in front of the telly, bored witless.

The second she'd left I had a blinding flash of inspiration, jumped into the 4S and went for a thrash to see if I could get the PSM to do its thing on the wet roads........

On her return an hour or so later she had noticed the smell of hot rubber (from the tyres matey, from the tyres !!)and asked if I had been out, describing the route I had taken.

(Obviously it was the completely empty 4 mile uphill very, very twisty one !)

"That new exhaust is a bit loud, I heard it from the fields on the other side of the valley (1.5 miles as the crow flies) and KNEW it was you!!"

(Note to self - must get PSE switch fitted for the next time I go and visit my sister/girlfriend or choirmaster!!)

BTW: PSM cut in on a slippery 90 degree bend, and again on the same corner on the way home, so I now know that works too !!

one of the greatest things about the PSE is how its sound carries through the air.

Needless to say, whenever I do the school run, my 9 year old hooligan insists on me reving the engine as I leave the school gates.

For Ballcock I suspect christmas cannot come quick enough

Nothing to add except, every time I drive my car, I fall further in love with the PSE.....and the more I drive it, the more 'coked up' the exhaust gets and the etter it sounds.....*

By the way, that ridiculous link i started last week about Potenza S-02A's was in fact cobllers. The tyres I have are Bridgestone potenza S-02's. there is no 'A' which I believe makes the ones I have a slightly harder compound and hopefully a bit longer lasting, if a little less grippy before they're 'warmed' smokin

continue ad infinitum

Have the PSE on mine, with no switch. Must have been fitted by the previous owner. Blasted out of the local Fezza dealer a couple of evenings ago and everyone stopped to see what it was. Mmmmmm, that might have been a bit chav of me, but boy did she sound sweet.

This reminds me of the journey home the other night.

I followed a Fiesta (may have been a ST but probably a Max Power 1.4, a few years old) off the M4 at Jct 10. It was dark so he may not have known I was in a Porsche but I kept close as if I wanted to pass. I could tell he was ragging the nuts off his car because he has a twin zaust (Clio Cup Style) that sounded terrible. It was so loud I could hear it over my music and my exhaust note.

He must have thought he was winning the race that we werent even having and he turned the other way when we got into Pangbourne. I got to the doctors surgery and I could still hear him thrashing the last rev out of the car a few miles away. I had to laugh.

Not quote the same calibre as a PSE but I had to share it with someone.
