Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy a Noble M12, I guess this has been asked a squillion times (I did have a quick search), but what should I look for and what problems are there with these cars?
I've heard rumours about the ECU???
I've had a TVR Chimaera for the last 4 years and fancy a change (don't tell the TVR forum I'm here ;-)
Also wondering if there are any meets or anything around and I could meet up with some of the owners and chat about the cars and have a look perhaps. I'm in the Nailsworth / Glos / Bath area
I know from buying the TVR that there's a lot to learn which you don't know till you've had one - I guess the M12 would be similar. So if any of you guys could enlighten me or fancy letting me have a look at your car (I'll buy you a beer!) it would be much appreciated.

Hi there! You'll find a mine of information amoungst the threads on this forum - the cars are pretty simple really with all major faults well documented and all avoidable.
I live in Hungerford - M4 JCT 14, you're more than welcome to have a look at one of the best M12 3R's that there is (all in MHO!!
)
Good luck with your search, you know it makes sense!

Hi Ian,
I did just what you are planning on doing a little over 4 years ago now. You'd be welcome to come up and have a chat and a poke around the car if we can sort out a suitable time. I'm just north of Cirencester so not too far. Let me know what you think although there might be a bit of a pause before I can get back to you.
Cheers,
Martin

Thanks guys,
I guess a 3R covers most of the issues?
Don't know if I want to spend that much tho. I was looking at spending 25Kish I've seen a few 3R's for about 33K - 35K would this be a reasonable price for one that has been looked after and got everything it should have???
Is there much difference between owning a 3 with all the bits done or a 3R as it stands?

but my car is lighter than yours (plus drier and cleaner too)!
