I think a 5am run out along the A272 then park up in Wickham with a thermos flask.

It's a general meet and will feature military, vintage, classic, exotic, motorbikes, steam and horse drawn. You will not believe the number of vehicles that will be crammed in. If you are sensitive about your paintwork then don't go. It's not that people are inconsiderate it's just that you cannot move for the crowds. Great fun and spirit. My car was mobbed all day.

May have been me going to VW. Sorry about the pebble dash. I'm assuming it was coming from the verges on the nearside. Some of those roads were not really wide enough for the Ultima. Felt like I was in the hedge a number of times.
