Master Cylinders Can they be mounted at a Angle ???

I have come across a problem with where i want to mount my Master cylinders.
If the reservoir is mounted remotely and above the cylinders, can they be mounted at a angle. I would be using a rocker pivot system so the push rod would still be parallel to the bore.
Has anyone seen them not mounted horizontally ?????

Have seen them horizontal, vertical and a number of different angles.
As you say provided the reservoir is above then it will work. Having said that there can still be some issues with getting rid of stubborn air locks.
The pedal mechanism needs thought so that as far as possible the shaft stays parallel to the bore throughout its travel. Whilst the shaft to pedal joint will swing through an arc you should try and make the centre of arc the centre length of the cylinder bore otherwise you will get some differential in the braking effort.
