A 74 yr.old. on a 350 Elsie!! - Any1 got one 4 sale??
Discussion
Pulled up at a petrol forecourt today and admired the bike in front as the rather agile rider swung his leg over.
He pulled over and we had a chat - it turns out that he had had the bike for years and is now regularly riding throughout the year at the age of 74!! now i remember my ole man selling his 250 because he was in fear of loosing his licence!!
Anyway seeing one of these ticking over and the smell of the 2 stroke brought back all those childhood memories so if anyone knw of a decent 250 or 350 about whose owner is considering a sale give me a shout - needs to be standard tho or near enough........

It wasn't Naill Mackenzie was it? He has a passion for LC's and must be nearly that old now.

I fancy a stroker to recapture my lost youth, (some chance), might go for an RGV 250 . nice.
go for the RS 250, a beautiful modern classic
Same engine isn't it ?, got to admit I know diddly squat about this era of strokers, my 2 stroke days ended with a well tuned GT 550 triple with 3 allspeeds. What a lovely noise, though my then neighbours disagreed.

Ah the KH triples, not the same class as the earlier models but still firkin dangerous, I had a KH400 looked and sounded the mutts nuts but was dog slow.I like the shocks on this bike but check out the swing arm for clues to the interesting handling.
