There was a bloke being investigated on Inside Story last night for clocking digital odometers. I'm sure for a reasonable fee he'd clock it back to just 100 miles more than it had on when it was delivered... after you'd spent the weekend on a nice jaunt around the continent

I enquired as to whether or not this was a misprint. Reply:
"The Bugatti is £20,000 for a 24 hour period with an allowance of 50 miles. Extra miles are £15 per mile.
Please bare in mind that only 14 of these cars have been sold. The chances that you will ever see one are highly unlikely let alone have the opportunity to have in your possession a Bugatti Veyron for a minimum of 24 hours.
Also, the maintenance of this vehicle is unlike any other hence the mileage restriction."
What. The.

.???Silly amount of money that nobody is realistically going to pay. It wouldn't surprise me if this company didn't actually have the car and just using this advert as a means of viral marketing (ie get everybody talking about them). I'm pretty sure you could 'invest' a lot less than 20K to get a 50 mile run in the Bugatti(eg hire an Enzo and turn up at the showroom and request a test drive)

I'm inclined to agree with you, but it strikes me as a strange way to get people talking about your company - it only provokes a negative opinion in me, and I imagine many others. Wasters IMO
