Does anyone use anything to keep a track of their networks, preferrably PHP/MySQL based.

I want to keep a simple inventory of customers kit and record disk space, size of exchange storage etc along with notes on any work I do and see how it changes over time.

In theory I'll fill it in on site and then use it to print a .pdf which will give my customers a monthly report on their networks health and record any work I do.

Handy for me but also helps the customer feel they are getting something for their money. I could write something but I don't have the time right now.

Why not use a spreadsheet? A bit of fancy formatting to make it look professional and then print to PDF. Also would be flexible enough to allow changes in the future should you decide to add extra fields.

Far too straightforward

I used to have an access one which was perfect but I want PHP/MySQL so I can create logins, tie customer reported faults to their account etc...

I'll probably end up writing my own but there's no point reinventing the wheel if someone else has done it.

I use a spreadsheet to keep track of server disk space, downtime etc. and RT* to log/track jobs, time & miles.

Have no experience of the software myself so don't blame me if it's pants!

Just did a quick search and found this. Any good to you?

They're not bad but Open-AudIT looks almost perfect for what I need.

It uses a VBS script and WMI to submit to your server and grabs everything about the machine.

Can't add notes as yet but they're working on it at the moment. Even if I end up using something else this is dead handy to produce a report on my customers machines when I take them on.

I need to check the security of it but it's looking very handy so far.
