I think you will find that the 24k is the same but the best value is Plans, they have the fixed costs on their website. www.plansmotorsport.co.uk/workshop/#servicing

If that is for a Noble spec service [all fluids, belts etc] £650 is very good!

Plan Motorsport is quite a trek from Scotland. Noble themselves are closer and the same price.

Where abouts in Scotland are you from? I live up in Aberdeen and bought mine nearly 2 weeks ago now.

MV Turbos near Dunfermline used to be the authorized service centre in Scotland.

John is still happy to service Noble cars: 07939 949979

Hey Guys,

I am in Aberdeen also. I have an M400 and also had a 3R. For servicing etc I now use my local garage. They have done a few things to the car and look after it for you.

I had heard there were a few M12's in Aberdeen lately. Must meet up!

Last time I checked (last month) Murray Motors Edinburgh was not an official service centre, although they have had some experience.

When my M400 needed it's first service early this year, Noble sent a tech up to Murray Motors to work on the car and run through with their tech's on how to service a Noble.

Since then we have had no word on Murrays being an official agent.

I know Simon of Japerformance. Just spoke to him. He's got a Noble going in for a service tomorrow. He's also worked with someone down south in fitting an Autronics to one.

To be honest my Service Book has Noble Stamped all over it from new and i would like to keep it that way. For minor work i would use a person locally with known experience with the car. I'm the same with the other car. I have that thing sent up and down the country to have only the best and people i trust work on it and set it up.

Hello to you all. I realise that it's still a trek but we are still authorised Noble dealers with Factory trained technicians here in Hexham. Also we do look after quite a few TVR's from Scotland. If we can help don't hesitate to contact us!
Best regards, Tony Abrams

Just a little info for all Scottish owners.

Murray Motors in Edinburgh are now the Noble dealers in Scotland and are a fully trained service centre, they are also taking orders for the M15 lick

Hi Dave,

Are you sure on this? I would have expected the Noble web site to announce this and / or a letter from Noble to advise us Scottish owners on the appointment.

It's in Noble and Murrays interests to tell us surely isn't it? Why nothing ?

Evening fellas. I've owned Noble since May '05 - a new silver M12 GTO3R supplied by Peter Smith Sportscars of Derby, which I chopped in just this July '06 - this time for an M400, 10 months old and with 700 miles on the clock. You might ask 'why?'....but there was good reason, orientated around paint microblistering on the M12, and a small paint job required as a result, along with a big ? on the quality and durability on all four alloys, all of which turned into a complete fiasco (I'd tell you the story but you'd be reading till midnight). If I travel to Peter Smith in Derby it's an 800 mile round trip....so you really rack up the miles, and initially I'd decided I'd opt for the service centre in Fife (MK Turbos?). Does that guy EVER answer his phone? He didn't instil me with confidence for sure, and I never did manage to get booked in there in any case. I have considered HHC (Hexham Horseless) as an option, it is a bit closer, but if there is now a deal with Murray in Edinburgh then it should be manna from heaven for us all! Meantime, I feel a trip south coming on, my M400, now with 5000 on the clock after Hooning to Monte Carlo this September - I can thoroughly recommend it btw - has decided it doesn't want to lock anymore. Anyway, it does really seem like there are a few of us 'Noblers' in Aberdeen City and Shire now, so we should arrange a meet soon maybe, an Aberdeen Minihoon no less, share some tips and experiences. Look forward to hearing from you. Shaun+

Hi Shaun,

I bought both my Nobles from Peter Smith also. I had a 3R from them in 2004 then my M400 since March 2005. We need to meet up and swap stories. I live in Westhill. An Aberdeen meet up sounds great.
