At last its back !

Finally got my Cerb back today, after taking it up to the sick Cerb hospital on Oct 9th !!

Had the following done...

De Cat pipes fitted - they sound wonderful
New Clutch Slave Cyliner
New Clutch Master Cylinder
Tappets + Big 24k Service
New Bell Housing
Suspension Adjusted
Steering Column alloy casting welded and re-tapped
MOT
New Wiper Park switch
New Dashboard assembly
Now I've just got to pay for it , but its great to have her back in the garage.

quality, i'm having a clutch failure investgated tomorrow . were you always going to have the mods done, or did you think 'wtf it's in so let's get it on!'?

A bit of both - I thought while its in get the Tappets and service done, and WTF O might s well have the De-Cat's fitted - all the other things were things that he found wrong, and fixed, he's a bit of a perfectionist, and found things that I didnt even kmow were wromg. but now thay are fixed I can really it's a lot better.

Glad to hear you have your Cerb back,did you not have a new clutch fitted? I have fitted a new slave cylinder to mine & put it back together,took it for a spin & the clutch is slipping!Hoping that i only need to bleed the clutch again or the whole lots gotta come out again to fit a new clutch!

I;ll keep my fingers crossed for you. On mine he checekd the clutch and its well within tolerance, so luckily didnt need to have it replaced.

yay! got mine back today, a new master and some tweaks to the clutch pedal (the clutch was fine -phew) and I had a great afternoon! had a look around levens in basildon - who did the work - nice it was.

Surely thats a very dangerous, and potentially expense place to get your cerb looked at?

I mean, walking round waiting to pick the car up and going "ooh, I'll have one of those" and "oooh, I'll have one of those too" and "ooooooooH, etc" (I think you get the picture )
