Respray questions

Hi guys,
Bit of an issue with the car last night, passed at high speed on a small country lane by a chuffin big tanker (going the opposite way not overtaking me before you laugh) and it looks like it threw a stone up and into the side of the car, so taken a chip about an inch long and half an inch wide and deep as well just in front of the rear wheel, also chipped the wheel. Just my luck as on way to the auction to buy a cheap car to put the Cerb away for the winter as well. So it looks like it will be an insurance job and a full respray as being faded Rosso Pearl I've heard it can't be matched. So a few questions.
I was planning to do a bit of work to the chassis and suspension over winter so this may have ruined my plans, however another thought I have had is just to remove the shell and send it for spraying while I work on the rest of the car. People who have removed the shell, is it feasible to refit the nice shiny resprayed body back on without scratching it?
I'm in Aberdeen so does anyone have any recomendations for good body shops with experience of TVR's, I may just bite the bullet and get it transported down South to Austec or somewhere though.
I'm not going back to Rosso Pearl as I want to be able to get front end resprays in the future and scratches / chips touched up so what other reds are similar, Red Glow maybe.
I could always just go for a complete colour change which I guess would be alot easier with the body off and therefore cheaper so any suggestions with pictures. I was thinking of orange from a Murciellago, then theres also the decision to go for a light upgrade or not. Decisions, decisions.

A friend of my dad was swiped earlier this month by a rather large lorry on the door of the car, the Rather large indented scratch was about half the doors lengh IIRC, and about 8 CM high, his car was 'rosso red pearl', and they managed to get an absolutely perfect match. i could find out details if they're needed for yourself!!

I've noted my imperial blue cerb has gained a mysterious scratch and chip on the o/s rear wing. Any good TiV resprayers in the Essex / South-East area? I may as well claim on insurance and get the whole lot done as well as I have a few micro-scratches that I'd like to see the back of.
