was stood on whitehall whilst all the cars were parking up in the middle. 2 coppers come walking down and i see them saying something to eachother, thinking it must be about moving the cars on and that they shouldn't be parked there (i.e. my rpe-judged stereotyped view). Overheard one of them pointing to a T350 then turning round to a parked Tuscan and saying to his mate "that's a nicer one though, look at that". And off they went. Summed up the day!!

Before I got back in my car, that I had parked in the middle of Whitehall, I went over to a BiB standing by my car, shook his hand and thanked him for his co-operation in allowing us to park there, he replied: That's ok, it's for a good cause, best of luck

I desperately needed the loo when we were parked at Whitehall and had to leg it almost all the way back to Trafalgar Square to a Maccy-D. By the time I got back, everyone had moved off and my car was left on its own with a copper marshalling traffic around it. Thought I was in for a rollocking. Approached the chap apologising profusely and was greeted with a grin and a "Have a safe trip back" as I hopped in and moved off.

thumbup Good work.

It was really good that they were so freindly and supportive, I overheard one on the phone to a superior saying 'it wasn't the intention of them stopping but they are just going to hand the petition in and then they will be off so no problems' and 'no we do not need you do dispearse them' How refreshing, top guysbow

Looks like somebody pretending to be a Peter Robinson who is an ex-chairman of the Centre for Engineering Leadership and Management in Australia. Don't know if that has a specific relevance to negotiations at TVR?

When I got pulled up the policeman insisted that all TVR's caught fire he then proceeded inside the car and started to rev the engine up.

Yes he said this one sounds like its had an aftermarket exhaust, I could have this off the road today and have it MOT'ed if I wanted.

Need I say what was going through my head.
