i am looking at getting one of these can anyone tell me how much bhp it gives out as i cant find info on this anywere

It's only a low pressure turbo, not really a sporty car in any sense of the word. Get the V6 (preferably wrapped in the coupe bodyshell), you know it makes sense

Well i have the same engine in a Xantia.
No problems here, not exactly quick but nippy none the less.

Again, I got the Xantia Activa, same engine but matched up to the best suspension ever made, standard they are 150bhp, I had mine on the rollers at 202, for about £50 worth of upgrades!!
I'd go for an Activa over the 406, the really are awesome, I've had mine about 5 years now and still I can't believe how it goes round corners! (really confuses scooby and bmw drivers, the expect you to roll round the corner and instead you leave them behind!)

Is it the Activa where you never really know where the end of your traction is because of the false sense of security?
