Possible photo studio day.

After speaking to a few of you lot on sunday it bacame apparent you are a vain lot(as would I with such a car) and would welcome the chance to get some nice top quality shots of your cars.

It was mentioned about arranging a Noble photo studio day getting 6 or so cars along and having some time in the studio(car, not owner) where you would get some shots of your car and have a laugh with some of the others at the same time.

I have spoken to a couple of guys so far and this idea seems to be something that could work, so I am just posting to see if it would actually be a viable idea and worth me looking into arranging and getting a date sorted, and I promise, no lakes to traverse.

Not sure about the naked laydees bit, could arrange a model to come along, if others were interested but i find nakedness and cars dont mix, mind you, do laydees and Greg really mix?

You would be more than welcome to come along, bring your camera along, have you ever used studio flash before?

A noble with lots of different bits on it, how could we not get some of that, would you want detail shots for brochure/website/catalogue?

Obviously being from the cold far North it would depend where, but I'd definitely be interested, especially as I got so lost on the meet and got no pics at all Could mine be the last M400

Thinking about it, I think my car is sexy enough with out needing that girly sat infront of it. She is however very cute indeed, so maybe just get her along to pose in skimpy bikini's for an hour and pretend to take photos. Then send her home and carry on with the shoot.


I have used studio flash a few times. My mate has a studio in Farringdon and his uncle has a big one in Stevenage old town.

I was mainly the one having the camera pointed at though rather than pressing the shutter. Did learn a lot though.

Do you have any details of the one in Stevenage as it would be nicely local to me, I do half recal hearing of one earlier in the year, but cant remember finding any information and being able to contact, either that or i did get through and it was so ridiculously expensive I wiped it from my memory.

I think anything mixes quite well with a bit of nudity.

If there are people who would want a model to come along, could arrange it so that the ones that dont have a morning slot, and the ones that do have an afternoon slot, and she attends for half of it. I can easily sort a model out if enough people want one.

a couple of suggestions

somebody there with lots of cleaning products etc (i would pay for a professional clean up)

Alex may be able to get a model(s) for the day

Alex can get a very nice blonde model, well i thought so anyway.

I dont know anyone that woudl be able to offer the cleaning/valet service, I suppose that would be best to sort out once the location is sorted too.

Due to the cost of the studio I would need to ask for a contribution towards the studio costs but this would only be minimal, if we used the one I knwo in Birmingham or Tamworth it would work out to be £25 per car, and probably £50 if the one in Milton Keynes were used(purely studio costs, I am not going to be making anything out of this), each of the 3 studios has cleaning facilities available and I am sure someone on the PH community will know of mobile valet companies at each if that was the general concensous of opinion.

If many more of you show an interest it might turn into a weekend thing, not just a day
