I've been told these will all be on the website for Monday!!

With no real experience of Britcar/Britsports after speaking to someone with such soical interaction problems like who i just spoke to i think there might be an opening for a new race series run by gentleman for gentleman....

See some of you on the grid in 07.

July 14 Castle Combe 2 x 50 Mins
August 4 Donington Park (Best of British) 120 Mins
Sept 8/9 Silverstone GP Britcar 24 Hours.

I would consider that post very provisional!

Considering Britcar's meant to be a Championship next season only 7 races seems a bit light?

I'm assuming that the 24hr will not count, considering the number of drivers req'd?

Its great that Britcar is on such high profile races such as A1GP and Great and British - it gives it the boost it needs to become the country's proper GT championship

7 races is what we were told at the briefing at Brands I believe, or I was told afterwards, can't remember, but it was definitely 7

So far, I only see a couple of races that I'd currently dare enter my car for - the two 2 x 50min jobs. However, James did say that to do the A1GP support, you'd be expected to do the races prior to that.

Not sure the ol' crate will last 2hrs yet. It'll probably shake itself to bits.

I won't be able to do the A1 GP meeting any way, I'll be getting dizzy at Rockingham.

There are more rounds than the LMES, and that's a championship.

Only major clash I have spotted so far is that the 4 Hour Spa race is the same weekend as Le Mans.

James indicated that one race could be dropped if it,s Champ points you is after, we can't do the first one as we are in Dubai,(business, not racing alas) so that seemed to buggers us from day one, but he then said that points would be available championship wise after the first six hours of the 24. I don't quite know how this would work or if this means that you can sign up for the first 6 hours, complete those, bag your points, and get a good nights sleep or what, guess we'll find out more as we get closer to the Britcar bash on the 12th Jan 07

I am doing the race at Oulton Park on 27/28 May and also the 2CV 24 Hour race on the same weekend !! Thankfully my race partner is a helicopter pilot It'll be a busy weekend......

Yeah I might be too, was due to do the 24hr this year but had to drop out last minute
