On sunday I drove down to Birmingham to meet up with some guys from the FiatForum to have our cars remapped by Pete at GSR engineering at the Chipped UK rolling road.

it was a good day! Pete had also developed some induction kits which turned out to be incredibly efficient and gave excellent gains. My 2.4 gave 204 bhp with 190Lbs/ft of torque, up from 170 bhp and 163 Lbs/ft!

If you want your fiat tuned (or alfa I think!) then go to pete, he certainly knows his stuff and the guys at chipped uk were brilliant!

here are some of the pics...

Lol! just from a remap and an induction kit. its on the standard exhaust etc..

There was a selespeed there with a supersprint backbox and centre section which had 204 bhp but 211 Lbs/ft and a schumacher which was putting out 206bhp but 184 lbs/ft

hehe

They've had good reviews of the ST Owners Club... but I'll not get much more out of the ST200 to be honest, although driveability should be inproved.

Yep!! i think the remap got around 15 bhp the kit 19bhp. a lot of that is down to the design of the induction kit, its ridiculously efficient!

I take it yours has a turbo? big gains are easier from turbo engines with remaps esp. the VAG group's...

dont forget this is a naturally aspirated 2.4 20v not renowned for being easy to tune...

Yep, it is the 1.8 20VT ala Audi TT/Leon Cupra.

Detuned by Skoda for the non-VRS to 150bhp.

Those are nice gains for an N/A engine thumbup
