You know on some car dealer sites you click on a stock list and it goes to a photo fading slide show of the car from exterior to interior etc???

My pc has suddenly stopped going to the photo it just stalls. I was suspicious about an auto Java down load so I uninstalled java and behold it goes to the photo page now....but there is a little red cross and no image. Reinstall Java and same as before....wont go to image page just hangs....

????? Ideas? what do I need to run the fading slide show like it was running a few days ago???

Thanks

What browser are you running? If its IE it may be an activeX setting that needs adjusting. Download firefox 2.0 without addins. Go to the page and see what "plugin" you have to download (it should tell you) .

AIEEEE! Can't have issues, it's not the worlds most reliable peice of software unfortunatley. Try clearing the cache of the browser and restarting it from cold. Other than that I'd suggest keeping Firefox as the default browser due to security/spyware stuff.

Afraid I havnt a clue how to clear a cache....explain please if you have the time....otherwise as you say I have Firefox as default although its a different format - cant seem to get favourites (called something else in Firefox) showing all the time on the left margin like IE, spose I will get use to it!
