Top Secret video

How is that a great video guys???
Quite pointless imho.
Going fast on motorway, wow!
Agreed the policemans attempts to break the language barrier by speaking louder and slower were text book.
Please check out some of the videos on yo tube of ferraris and lambo's gunning through alpine roads, now that is something to see , but a max power fest on a motorway isnt that appealing.

See GazBoy, now the twisty stuff I do find fantastic!
1000bhp out of 2.7L engine is remarkable but would prefer to see how they achieved it on the discovery channel than watch them toast tires from standstill on the A1.

Totaly agree. See what I can find.
Not quite in the same league bit I seem to remember a few videos of some americans building a big power supra, showing all the bits that made up the engine etc - worth a watch.
Back to Nagata - what I like about him is more his attitude than him doing a top speed run on the motorway (although I do find him pulling onto the road, doing a burnout and then starting his run quite amusing). If you read an interview with him it's clear that his passion is getting the most possible out of an engine and car, irrespective of what the rules and regulations say - which is something i can appreciate.

Regarding his comments about the stock internals only being good for "a couple of hundred" is pure BS, there's many, many Supras running over 500bhp on stock internals.
That's the one Gaz - some of the comments like the "good for 200" that you mentioned are clearly a bit of artistic license but on the whole it's not a bad little video - nice to see them putting the engine together in front of you (even if they do overuse the word "stout" )
i translated this for you guys...
Hope you enjoy it

smokey nagata:
I watched a video the other day, in the video the r33 beat the s30z...
I don't think so...
I'm gonna find out which one is faster
Narrator when driving the skyline basically just says trying to get to 300kmh, and things like here is the shot from another camera
Now in england
narrator:
He always burns out. In England. Anywhere. Anytime. Smokey Nagata always drives like that.
He bought the car over to England but he did the same in Japan but came to drive the C300 car.
Smokey Nagata:
I am in England on the M road. I'm going to drive 0-300kmh. Its very cold and wet on the road.
Narrator:
In England, the M road you are not allowed to stop your car. If you drive over the speed limit in England on the M road you get banned. They are very strict. 0-300kmh smokey is crazy.
*smokey burns out
Narrator:
He did a burn out!!! a 900 bhp wheelspin.
318kmh!!! Maybe the fastest speed ever done on the M road.
Smokeys dream is to drive the car on the street in every country. No one will beat him in Japan..
* Police sirens
This is not a lie. He accelerated even though the roads were wet. It looks like the other cars are stopped. But finally the police got him over the limit.
* English bit
Narrator:
He hid the video in his pants.
Smokey Nagata made the international papers with the highest speed on the road. Over 300 kmh! It may never happen again!!
English people are very stupid, this isn't big news in Japan.
then he says it was in Max power!

Ahaha, thanks. Good job he did hiding it too.
I was thinking, you could probably drive like that and get away with it in the early hours of the morning on Christmas day. On a 30min drive on Xmas day we met about 10 cars.
