Audi TT Sport : Which Tyres ?

A friend of mine is looking to replace the Conti Sports on his TT. What are the recomendations ? Mostly Motorway driving and about 30k per year, But work pays for them so price is not an issue. Looking at the Pilot Sports or Goodyear Eagle F1's ? Any others ?

Am on my 3rd set of F1s. Can't recommend them enough.....relatively cheap (£100 for 18s), very good wet and dry grips and decent life. I know a lot of people that share the same views on this and similar cars.

Only downside is tyre noise when worn. Mine are a couple of k away from needing replcing and it sounds like a bearing has gone! All 3 sets have done this and have heard or reports from others as well.

Could also be because 2 of my wheels are apparently not completely round any more!
