what brakes I've got to buy for griffith

I'm french, I love my griffith 500, but when I brake...I think it could be better....
so , for you what is the best brake ( for road and not for circuit evidently) I can buy and where.

Without changing your front wheel size you can go for a 285mm grooved disc upgrade at the front with some after market 4pots such as Wellwood, etc. With this front upgrade a rear grooved disc in the standard size will suffice.

If you wish to go further you can increase your front wheels to 16"s as in the final 100 Griffths - this allows you to go for 300mm grooved discs.

If you haven't already then also fit braided brake hoses and upgraded pads as well.

330mm AP Front brake conversion , requires 17" wheels , but gives immense stopping power for road and track - when combined with wider fr/rr tyres.
In my case - Chim 500 - rear brakes are standard callipers with (std dia)drilled discs.

I've got Wilwood discs/calipers/pads on my Griff 500 - I think they are great .... fitted by the last owner they are good for normal use and have immense stopping ability when the need arises. They cost him quite a bit to get fitted though; not sure exactly but definitely not cheap!

I am running Willwoods, 300mm discs & Mintex 1144 pads. They are great for track days, but are a bit bitey for road use, but you do get used to them. on the road you barely touch the brake pedal to stop.

The cheapest option is to fit sierra cossie fronts with the 280mm discs
