I've been offered an intercooler at a price where it would be rude to say no. Now cosmetics aside (though the idea of stanard car with a huge fornt mounted cooler does appeal) are there many benifits to be gained from fitting one? Does it simply just allow you to safely run more boost or is there an actual bhp boost as well? It's already got one, but only the small plasticy and badly positioned factory one

there are very few oem intercoolers that are upto much cop! and they normally stick them in crapy places!

a godd example is the evo. it has a big front mounted cooler that actually works. lol

i say go for it. your not going to loose anything (in the power department) and if you want to make more then its going to be needed anyway.

thanks chris.

You might get some more power if you can put the extra fuel in. Remember how much sprightlier you car feels on a cold day; it'll be more like that every day!

Mine is infront of the rad, exactly the same size.
it will only be of benefit if the air flow is greater than yours now other wise you'll run into problems and blowing off pipes!
