At night the MPH lettering in the speedo is extremely bright and doesn't respond to the dimmer control.
It actually irriatates the buggery out of me.

mad

Oh that and ridiculously slow speed the seats move.

I must admit I have noticed the MPH brightness too, not sure if Tech 2 could alter it

I believe it can be adjusted (via Diags tools) but I've never had a problem with it TBH

clock brightness doesnt worry me. However the fact that my front seats move in "geological time" irritates the living bejesus outta me. Honestly, they could be beaten by a dead dog with three broken legs. I've seen evolution go quicker....

That and the throttle dampner. Feckin Nanny state. If I push the loud pedal down it means I want full torque right then. Not in .5s time. Trouble is, I'm too tight to get it taken off..

Still love the Mooner though, working on my third set of tyres in 8k. oh yes!..

Your car is drive by wire not the usual direct to the injectors throttle action.

it an electronic "nanny" which slightly retards the torque response of the engine to throttle setting. only by a fraction of a second mind, but it makes the throttle feel likes it running treacle and I absolflipplin'lutely haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate it....

BUT, (to quote JC) "its a big, round, full-bodied" BUT, I suspect that without it my rear tyres would only last about 1k miles instead if the 3k ish that I'm getting!..

not to mention the "OHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT" moments that our wonderful winter roads would bring.

I did toy with the idea of disabling it for the summer but i take so long to make my mind uo, that by the time i'd decided to do it, it was winter again. DOH!

If the kit/software/leads were available for sensible money I would buy them just to be able to do things like that myself...

In no particular order and I guess some of these come under the missing feature banner

1) The MPH light that burns you retina. (Can be dimmed but you need a TECH II and the garage wants £50-00+ VAT just to plug it in!!!)

2) No RDS, TP or Program Display on the Radio.

3) Having to stop every 50 miles in the winter to clean the headlights.

4) Dealers who break more than they fix....

5) Fuel tank in the boot

6) The vibrating gear lever (As it happens to them all I guess it come under the feature list)

But given the chance would I swap it. You bet I would but only for a VXR500 driving

...not so much 'stupid' as irritating is the non-play-ability of MP3 disc's! Now I know there's true music from the 'throbber' but I don't like the windows down when it's -6C outside or when it's pi55ing down!

the way that when you want to get into the back seat it powers forward but not back, why?

and why does it need power to do it all? Whats up with australians I thought they were all sporty or are they really ratehr portly?
