Try Directions.

Haven't used there stuff for donkeys but it worked well enough if I remember rightly.

Thank you. That looks a cheaper option. I nearly fell of the chair when I saw the price of Mappoint 2006

Dont forget MapPoint is a visual GIS system that just looks simple. The map/turn version is Autoroute:
www.microsoft.com/uk/homepc/autoroute/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=001 £99.

Still not as good as TomTom tbh, but if you are building an in-car PC, I could ask someone I know who does a bit of AutoPC stuff for MS..

I already have a tomtom version for my XDA IIi and I mainly use it for that. Seems such a waste of a phone that I never use so I thought I would sell it and use my laptop instead. The BMW does or should I say did have satnav but the drive has packed up (plus I think it is going soon).
I am just looking for a 'point and click' simplistic satnav without too many features.

Directions is a really good program. I use it with a Globalsat BU353 USB GPS Receiver all the time with work and its never sent me wrong !
