posted this in the parts section but got no response and i've tried all the usual voltage checks and replacement rubbers
Does anyone have a source for door window mechs?
My passenger side one is slower than our apprentice
its marked up as a Skoda Favorit
Upon investigation at Skoda its a dealer installed accesory kit that went out of production yonks ago anyone?

Have you tried the silicone rubber lube availbale at Halfords?

Makes quite a difference

I have no idea if the Cerb has the same set up as the Chim, but the point is that it was the drive cable up the middle of the door that solved my problem when I wrote this. Lubricating the runners made little difference

thanks guys, thing is i've just about tried all the usual , i've got full voltage at the motor, lubricated the lift cable and removed the seals to minimise the friction .
What seems to be happening is that through wear in the tracks as the window starts to lift it very slightly cocks in the guides and this causes it to slow up. No adjustment i make appears to help, so i really think its time to replace the lot with new. What i was looking for was a source for a new one ?
