hi. i´ve a question to the following thing:

viewed 2 westfields. one had a chassis-no starting with 88WSE.... the other 87SE....

does the first no´s stand for the year of construction? and why the one has SE the other WSE, because both had narrow bodies.

You would be right to assume that SE was narrow and SEW wide, so I do not know why the anomaly - sorry. Try asking on the WSCC site WSCC

Thats might not be the chassis no it depends on the sva when it was tested if they allow that to be the chassis number or give it a totally new number. Mine has a seperate number and my mates uses the one on the plate. The one on the plate is put there by westfield identify the chassis. Look at MOT'S and the log book.

but the car had a refurbished lotus big-valve eninge fitted, independent rear suspension, perfect suspension set-up....it handles like a dream!!!
