But that didnt stop the two that turned up from going out to play ...
We did see Trooperman 4x4 running off down a white run ....
As we (Ed) ventured off through a more challenging route through water ...
and up the hill ....
Although the success of this was evidently a surprise to Ed too ...
Before venturing back home ...
Trooperman, sorry we didnt come to say hello, but we only realised it was you as you drove off into the wilderness, and we didn't see you again ... (we were engaged in the important task of queueing for burgers at the time!!!)

Also to Blue Thunder, cheers for the wheels, unfortunately Autopost didnt have a full set of AT tyres for the HSE rims, only classic's which were too thin to fit.
Will get some Knobblies fitted in January ready for another play, as my "racing slicks" did limit me to the pot holes rather than gradients.

Saw a few Jeeps there, have to say, they are quite impressive concidering that they significantly lower than most everything else there!!
How do they do it, is it brute force or just not giving a damn

Unfortunatly i think you will find the site is now closed until March. They do sometimes do one on the last sunday of september though.

Ed has some better vid from through his windscreen i would imagine, as he actually had some tread on his tyres TBH .. the carpark at woodlands was probably the most challenging place to drive around on Sunday

I just need to edit my footage and will upload soon The car park was almost impossible to walk over without going T over A, let alone drive around!

he did, but they were a tad overkill in the wallet department

no idea but there were a few lightweights on skinny tyres running rings around everyone else in the mud
Yea it will take a while to clean up, but then thats what polish car valeters are for.
Blasted out the wheel arches and brakes at the jet wash down the road from woodlands straight away, but the rest of the car is still a pile of mud on wheels, (priceless looks as i drove through central London) i was hoping that it would rain on the way to Bristol yesterday and give it an au natural hose down
Yeah mostly brute force on the black runs! I used to cringe when I heard various bits hit the floor but I am now immune
Hopefully by the time Woodlands reopens I'll have some sort of lift on it (either a budget boost or a proper lift), but would like to find some other decent local pay and plays for the mean time.
