.Mark said: You must have to be really travelling or do something on a numpty type scale to roll a car such as a Chimaera!
The centre of gravity must be pretty low on them, so I guess it needs to be clipping a kerb at high speed or similar?
Not necessarily. About 2/3 years a Cobra replica rolled at Supercar Sunday (Gaydon Motor Museum). The car was only travelling at around 30mph. It's all down to the angle of dangle and what you hit/miss. In the case of this rollover, the driver appeared to be trying to get a bit of oversteer out of a slow corner from the carpark and the back end went around a smidge then the car gripped and accelerated straight on - towards some logs along the side of the road, then clipped a log and did an airborne 360 flip. I'm sure this guy was seriously embarrassed as 100s of people were watching and he was showing off.

... or it could happen if you make a split second decision to avoid somebody who has crossed the central reservation and is coming at you head on?
At end of the day you have virtually no roll over protection and there have been enough incidents recently to make me think twice. Other half has a Chim in exactly the same colour scheme by the looks of it as the one above - she's ordered the roll centre bars, being fitted by Tower View shortly.

His nice chromed roll bar (two hoops style) collapsed and the car used the passengers head as a support...
The passenger had paid for a dream ride as well but ended up in hospital...

I dunno, it's amazing what some people can walk away from, remember that vid of a merc ragtop come hurtling round a bend on an autobahn, lose it horribly then roll over the armco for a bit, the dust settles and he walks off without even a stagger! Apparently he was doing over 150mph. There were those two nutters in the white fezzer on the cannoball last year as well
